HILLSBORO -- Funeral services for Claude G. Harding, age 72, a life-long resident of the Hillsboro community, who died Saturday, May 8, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hillsboro Methodist Church. The Rev. Arthur Schenck officiated and burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg. Mr. Harding, who died in Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he was a patient four days, was born April 8, 1893. He was the son of Daniel and Ida Cooper Harding. He was married to Tina E. Clark of Portland Arch, Sept. 6, 1914. She preceded him in death in 1951. He was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church. Surviving are: two daughters, Miss Mildred L. Harding and Mrs. Hilda F. Wall, both of Indianapolis; two sons, Leland, of Attica and Paul of Vallejo, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Undine Hutson of Hillsboro.….(rest missing)   --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO -- Claude G. Harding, 72, a life long resident of near Hillsboro, died at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., Saturday. He had been there since Wednesday. He was born April 8, 1893, to Daniel and Ida Cooper Harding. He was married to Tina E. Clark of Portland Arch Sept. 6, 1914. She died in 1951. Mr. Harding was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mildred L. Harding and Mrs. Hilda F. Wall, both of Indianapolis; two sons, Leland, of Attica, and Paul, of Vallejo, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Undine Hutson, of Hillsboro, and 10 grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hillsboro Methodist Church. Rev. Arthur Schenck officiated. Burial was in the Rockfield Cemetery west of Hillsboro.   --typed by Walt W
